Sufficient

Exodus 4:13 "But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”

Many times we can be like Moses, fearful and naive. God commanded Moses to speak to Pharaoh in order to bring his people freedom and deliver them to the Promised Land. Rather than show excitement and gratitude for being chosen as the vessel, Moses made multiple excuses as to why he was the wrong choice. When all his excuses failed, he simply asked the Creator of the universe to send someone else! How crazy is this?

Is God asking you to do something? Are you making the excuses that you are too busy, or not knowledgeable enough, or even inadequate? Remember 1 Corinthians 1:27, “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong” (NIV). Moses was a chicken, had a stuttering problem, and a shepherd when he was called by God. And God turned Him into one of the heroes of the faith and a savior to his people. If God wants to use you, let Him and see what you will become.

WOD: "Gwen"
Clean & Jerk 15-12- and 9 reps
Touch and go at floor only. Even a re-grip off the floor is a foul. No dumping. Use same load for each set. Rest as needed between sets.

Took this WOD easy today and with relatively light weight at115#. Did all three sets unbroken (ie didnt hold bar in rack position or on knees) and touch and goed all the way through. I did take 3 and 5 minute rests in between sets to catch my breath and find a good song on pandora though. I wish I had a DJ to play music for me while I work out. I will probably go for this workout again in an hour or so at 125#. Good luck wodies! Let me know how you do if you try this WOD.
